International Holistic Health Association Global Holistic Health Summit in Bangalore, India, 11-16 November 2001

The International Holistic Health Association is organizing the Global Holistic Health Summit in Bangalore, India from 11th-16th November 2001.

In 1989, the International Holistic Health Association organized the 1st International Conference on Holistic Health and Medicine here in Bangalore. Inaugurated by and held under the patronage of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, this highly successful event brought together over 500 delegates from 30 countries. This included representatives from many holistic organizations across the world including the Japanese, British, American, Finnish Holistic Medical Association and The Fetzer Foundation.

Today, Alternate and Complementary Medicine is gaining growing recognition and respectability worldwide and Integrated Medicine with its 'holistic' approach is increasingly becoming the order of the day.
