Maneewan Chia draws on her experience as co-director of the Healing Tao for 20 years and a lifetime of cooking and an inquiry into nutrition. Five Element Nutrition, based on the ancient Taoist theory and applications of Five Element Theory, assures that each organ receives its correct nourishment attuned to the season, from the right element, and also maintains a Yin/Yang balance. Maneewan's holistic approach will include practical suggestions for making Five Element choices when shopping for food, preparing meals, and eating in restaurants.

Maneewan Chia will be offering a Special Lecture, "A Pathway to Eternal Youth, Longevity and Harmony," on Friday evening, May 7th, at 7 pm. $20.

About Maneewan Chia: She has been in charge of the Healing Tao kitchen at all retreats since 1983, pleasing tens of thousands of students. She is co-author with Mantak Chia of 5 Healing Tao books, published the Healing Tao Journal, and is currently working on the Five Element Nutrition book to be published later this year.

Qigong Five Days Intensive Program

This dynamic seminar is a profound introduction to energy work in itself and the first step in becoming a certified Qigong practitioner. We will be focusing on the connection between the various aspects of health and development of the mind and body through an energetic approach. Through lectures, exercises and hand on experiences we will be working with the essence of breathing, movements, mental focusing and nutrition.

Yin/Yang concept, Qigong Exercises and Meditation, Qi - Sensitivity, Strengthening of the Inner Center, Individual Regulation and Enhancing of the Body's Vitality and Substance.
